Negohot is named after the small Jewish community in the Hebron Hills where Baruch and Shimrit Foychtvanger established their home, family, and life’s work. Founded in 2006, Negohot has become synonymous with excellence, resilience, and a deep connection to the Land of Israel.
Baruch and Shimrit’s journey was not easy. After being forcibly expelled from their home, they searched for a place where they could once again put down Jewish roots in Jewish soil. That search led them to Negohot, where they rebuilt their lives and committed themselves to developing the land of their ancestors.
Baruch, a beekeeper since childhood, learned the craft from his father, who produced honey for over 50 years. After studying agriculture, Baruch developed a unique approach to beekeeping—moving his hives across the land to follow seasonal blooms. This method produces distinctive, high-quality honeys while supporting pollination and strengthening the ecosystem.
