About the Producer
MASIK is a family-run natural cosmetics company based in the Golan Heights of Northern Israel. It was founded in 2004 by Amnon Mizrachi, who came to the Golan following the Yom Kippur War with a simple dream — to build a home, raise a family, and live with a deep connection to the Land of Israel.

MASIK was born from personal experience. After being diagnosed with psoriasis, Amnon was advised to use natural olive oil soap to soothe his skin. While it helped, he felt it could be gentler and more enjoyable to use. Surrounded by olive groves, he began experimenting on his own, eventually creating a soap that nourished the skin without drying it out.

What began as a personal solution slowly grew into something more. Friends and neighbors asked for the soap, and demand followed naturally.
A chance meeting with Fania Feitelson, a chemist and new immigrant from Russia, became a turning point. Her knowledge and formulas helped shape the foundations of MASIK’s natural cosmetics — a moment that felt especially meaningful.

Today, all MASIK products are handmade in a small factory in the Golan Heights, using only high-quality cold-pressed oils and pure essential oils. The company continues to work with a small team of chemists who develop new formulas rooted in the same values: simplicity, integrity, and respect for nature.

Through Lev Haolam, MASIK shares its products with people around the world — supporting Israeli families, local craftsmanship, and a way of life deeply connected to the land, one natural product at a time.
