Arugot was founded by Itay and Esther Lachman, a couple guided by a simple belief - when you see a problem, you take responsibility and act.
In 2010, together with a small group of families, they chose to move to Moshav Shuvah (a small agricultural village in southern Israel), to strengthen Jewish life in the south of Israel. What began as a group of seven families. What began as a group of seven families has since grown to 45 families.
Arugot was founded by Itay and Esther Lachman after they moved to live in Moshav Shuvah and began making all-natural products for their family. They discovered many toxic chemicals in the soaps and hygiene products they used with their children.Drawing on her studies in homeopathy and aromatherapy — and knowledge she gathered — she began creating natural products by hand. People loved what Esther was making, especially the wonderful scents of her products.
