Ron Cohen is an Israeli artist based in the northern city of Tsfat, where he lives and works. A graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Ron brings formal training and years of experience to his artistic practice.
His work combines text, imagery, and decorative elements, developed through a layered process using acrylic and watercolor paints. Each piece begins with a concept that gradually takes shape through careful composition and color.
Ron’s artistic style reflects strong influences from Middle Eastern and Persian visual traditions, expressed through detailed patterns and a warm, luminous color palette. Natural themes and the landscapes of Israel often inform his work, particularly through the use of yellow and gold tones that echo the region’s light.
Ron maintains a small studio and boutique in the Artists’ Colony of Tsfat, where he presents a selection of his artwork and prints. His pieces reflect a thoughtful approach to combining visual storytelling with refined craftsmanship.
