About the Producer
Tamar and Yaakov Hanman founded their family farm, HaTzav, in the Golan Heights, on the settlement of Nov, near the historic site of Ein Keshatot. Here, Jewish families are raising children and cultivating the land, producing wine and olive oil using the same traditions as their ancestors.
Yaakov, a second-generation farmer, has lived in the Golan Heights for nearly 50 years. He believes that farming the Land of Israel is a noble calling and takes pride in growing grapes and olives, crafting products that carry the care, skill, and dedication of generations.
Every olive oil bottle is handmade, 100% natural, kosher, and cold-pressed, preserving the full flavor and nutrients of the ripe olives. The oil reflects the unique character of the Golan, connecting each sip to the land, the climate, and the people who care for it.
Through Lev Haolam, Yaakov now shares his olive oil with people around the world, allowing each jar to support Jewish agricultural traditions, small family businesses, and a deep connection to the Land of Israel.
Supporting Yaakov means helping families thrive, preserving ancient practices, and experiencing the authentic taste of Israel – one bottle at a time.
