Orlah & Shmita Compliance
Orlah refers to the Torah commandment (Leviticus 19:23–25) prohibiting the consumption of fruit from a tree during its first three years. This olive oil is certified Orlah-free, meaning the olives come exclusively from mature trees.
Shmita, the Sabbatical Year (Leviticus 25:1–7), requires the land in Israel to rest every seven years. Har Va’Emek olive oil is certified Shmita-free, ensuring it was produced in full compliance with these laws.
Together, these certifications reflect halachic integrity and deep respect for biblical tradition.
